This picture talks about a common problem that we face in societies today. For a younger audience the reason many indulge into either bad habits wrong doings or a particular culture or trend is attributed to mainly peer pressure. But apparently peer pressure or society pressure (the act of conducting in a particular fashion due to the fear on people's thoughts on them..) is upon us and that is what's pushing us in to deeper troubles. It's everywhere in our Country. We carry out our life decisions based on what people think about us and not what's right. The job we choose, the partner to marry, the life we live and the life we show is based upon what others would like to see.
A good social proof would be Facebook. Our every action is either a post, or a photo with instant tags on facebook just for the approval of the "General Public Audience". The numerous profile pics with their filters and the copy-paste posts that shows of their smartness and the never ending word of wars!

True, but then again man is a social being!
ReplyDeleteAgreed. But this isn't against us humans socialising. It's the need of approval by others that's turning into a daylight horror. Many such horrors lurk and we are even a part of either the cause or the affected everyday. That is what I feel is wrong..
